Saudi FBA sea freight, We all know that Amazon FBA is a crucial sales channel, but sometimes our shipments might get rejected. So, what are the specific reasons?
Labeling Issues
Amazon requires every item to have accurate labels, including product identifiers and shipping labels. Labels that are unclear, incomplete, or inconsistent with the actual contents may be rejected. Therefore, always double-check label accuracy and completeness before shipping to avoid rejection due to labeling errors.
Carton Issues
Cartons that are damaged or severely deformed will be rejected by FBA. Additionally, cartons exceeding the specified size or weight limits—such as weighing over 23kg or exceeding 63cm in any dimension (length, width, or height)—may also be rejected. If rejected, goods can only be sent to a nearby third-party overseas warehouse for repackaging and relabeling.
Pallet Issues
All FBA sea freight shipments must be palletized (on pallets or "cardboards"). Shipments without pallets, or with non-compliant pallets (e.g., incorrect size, over-height, or damaged), will be rejected. Pallet specifications: 1m × 1.25m, must be wrapped in stretch film, height ≤ 1.8m, and weight ≤ 680kg. Non-compliance may result in rejection.
Tape Issues
Amazon mandates the use of transparent tape for FBA shipments. Colored tapes (e.g., yellow) may lead to rejection—though in reality, small amounts of non-transparent tape are acceptable if they don’t cover shipping labels. Plastic straps are technically prohibited but tolerated if minimally used and not extensively wrapped around the carton.
