Priority is given to delivery from local warehouses to shorten lead time and speed up inventory turnover, with costs for unpacking, storage and redelivery. Thirdly, resale or clearance categorizes the backlog of undelivered goods by value, selling them at a discount as blind boxes or in bulk to local retailers for quick capital recovery. It is suitable for situations with a large backlog of packages and is an effective supplementary way to reduce losses.
Lastly, returning to the country of origin is suitable for large quantities of high-value goods that can be resold. After unpacking, the goods are re-warehoused and relisted, but high tariffs and sea freight are required, so it is only suitable for merchants with global business coverage.
In addition, some packages can be used as event prizes or influencer promotion samples to further explore residual value. The specific handling method should be comprehensively determined based on product characteristics, logistics resources and costs.
