Upon approval, a certificate valid for 3 years will be issued. Products must be labeled with the GCC mark for customs clearance and sale.
- ECAS Certification is a UAE-specific mandatory certification regulated by the Emirates Standardization and Metrology Authority (ESMA), applicable only to the UAE market.Applicants must appoint a local UAE agent, confirm the certification mode, and prepare materials including product test reports and Arabic label samples. Submit the application and pay fees through the ESMA online system. The review period ranges from 1 to 8 weeks. After certification, products must bear the ECAS mark. The certificate is valid for 1–3 years and requires annual inspection and renewal as required.
