Dubai's summer temperature often exceeds 50°C. The hot and dry desert climate easily causes goods to soften, deteriorate or suffer performance failure. For door-to-door air freight to the Middle East, high-temperature protection must be implemented throughout the whole process including packaging, transportation and handling.
Packaging serves as the core line of defense. Prioritize five-layer thick corrugated cartons or plywood wooden boxes with a temperature resistance range of -10°C to 100°C. Reinforce box corners with angle protectors and seal seams with wide adhesive tape to block sand and heat penetration. For high-temperature sensitive goods such as cosmetics, electronic products and food, adopt a three-layer structure of heat insulation film + ice pack + buffer layer: wrap the inner layer with bubble film or high-density pearl cotton, lay aluminum foil heat insulation film on the middle layer to reflect heat, place sealed ice packs inside for cooling, and wrap the outer layer with waterproof and sun-proof film. For electronic goods, additionally use anti-static bags to prevent component damage caused by static electricity accumulation in hot and dry environments.

Strict temperature control shall be implemented in transportation. Give priority to flights with constant temperature cabins to keep the cabin temperature stable below 25°C, as the temperature of ordinary cargo holds can exceed 60°C and easily damage goods. Store goods in temperature-controlled warehouses before loading to reduce exposure to ground high temperature. Equip temperature recorders throughout the whole process to monitor temperature changes in real time and give timely early warnings for abnormalities. For last-mile delivery, arrange loading and unloading in low-temperature morning and evening hours, avoiding noon high temperature to shorten the stay time of goods in outdoor high-temperature environments.
Standardize detailed operations to avoid risks. Post prominent bilingual warning labels of "Moisture-proof & Sun-proof" on outer cartons to standardize handling operations. Avoid mixed loading of meltable and deformable items. Seal liquid goods well against leakage to prevent high-temperature seepage from contaminating other goods. Declare temperature control requirements in advance before shipment to ensure smooth connection of all logistics links. Form a complete closed-loop of high-temperature protection from domestic warehouses to door-to-door delivery in Dubai, ensuring goods are delivered intact and safely.
