Shipping to Middle East: Key Requirements for Product Packaging and Warehouse Delivery for Noon E-commerce

30 Jul, 2026

When deploying business on Noon, the leading e-commerce platform in the Middle East, rigorous control over logistics transportation, product packaging and overseas warehouse delivery specifications is critical to preventing goods rejection, warehousing delays and unexpected deductions. Operations must fully comply with platform rules and the logistical characteristics of the Middle East market.

Packaging Requirements

Noon mandates individual sealed packaging for every single unit. All accessories shall be securely fastened to prevent loosening or falling off. Electronic products and high-value goods require additional protection via shrink wrap or bubble wrap. Fragile items such as glass products must be affixed with clear fragile stickers. Outer cartons must be sturdy, intact and free from dampness, with inner voids filled with bubble wrap or foam sheets for shock absorption.

Only platform-exclusive QR codes and compliant EAN/UPC barcodes shall be pasted, ensuring clear and scannable barcodes without overlapping labels. Bundled sets must be clearly marked as bundled products.

Logistics & Warehouse Delivery Regulations

For first-mile shipments to the Middle East, complete customs clearance documents including commercial invoices and packing lists must be prepared. Goods destined for Saudi Arabia need to obtain SASO and SABER certifications for regulatory compliance.

Deliveries must strictly align with ASN batch information: one carton corresponds to one unique ASN number. A single carton should preferably contain only one SKU, and mixed random SKU stuffing is prohibited.

Size and weight restrictions apply to shipments: for Saudi Arabian warehouses, each individual package shall not exceed 25 kg in weight, with maximum dimensions of 100cm × 50cm × 50cm. Pallet stacking height shall be limited to 2 meters with neat arrangement, in line with overseas warehouse sorting and receiving standards to avoid warehousing malfunctions and transit damages.
