What are the packaging requirements for shipping to Saudi?

As a major market in the Middle East, Saudi imposes strict standards on product quality and packaging. Standardized packaging is not only crucial for the safe transport of goods, but also shows respect for and protection of buyers' rights. Therefore, when shipping goods to Saudi, it is essential to strictly follow the relevant regulations and ensure the packaging meets the required standards.

All products must be packed in high-quality cardboard boxes.Whenever possible, use plain cartons without any unrelated product names or logos.

Packaging specifications must allow for manual handling. The weight of a single box should not exceed 30KG. The size should be moderate — the longest side must not exceed the prescribed length (e.g., 120CM or 100CM, depending on the logistics channel). The total of the box's length, width, and height should exceed a minimum (e.g., 60CM) to meet transport requirements.

Packaging must offer protection.Empty spaces should be filled with foam or other soft materials to prevent damage during shipping.

A single carton should contain only one product type; a maximum of three different product types per carton is allowed.

Every product must be marked with "MADE IN CHINA."The labeling must comply with Saudi regulations. For example, textiles must have a sewn-in "MADE IN CHINA" label; for small items, the label can be printed or stuck on the OPP bag.

Textile items (such as clothing, shoes, scarves, bags, etc.) must have sewn-in "MADE IN CHINA" labels.

For very small items (e.g., buttons, jewelry beads, balloons, straws): It is not required for each individual item to carry the label. Instead, group them in OPP bags and print or affix the "MADE IN CHINA" label on the bag.

For large individual products (e.g., chairs, tables, large lamps, sofas): The label should be stuck directly on the product or its packaging. For single-item cartons, a label on the outer box is also acceptable.

Label language must be in English or Arabic. Instruction manuals and warning labels must be in Arabic or Arabic + English.

Outer cartons may need to be wrapped in specific colored woven bags (e.g., green) and affixed with relevant labels (such as warehouse entry number, MADE IN CHINA, etc.). The use of certain colors of tape (e.g., yellow) may be prohibited.

Additionally, pay attention to specific regulations and restrictions in the Saudi market, such as prohibited items, voltage and plug standards, etc., to ensure smooth customs clearance and successful delivery.
